About Enrollment at BSFCS

Enrollment at Bellevue-Santa Fe Charter School is open to all students who wish to attend. Because we are a school of choice, we encourage families who are considering enrollment to carefully review our educational philosophies and policies to determine if our design aligns with personal pedagogical beliefs and the individual needs of the potential students. As a public school, admission is open to children without regard to pupil’s previous academic achievement, physical condition, proficiency in the English language, family income, disability, gender, gender identification, nationality, race or ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or any other specified individual characteristics.

As a conversion charter school, enrollment preference is given to families residing in the former attendance area of the school. The former attendance area includes North of BSFCS to the South Higuera Street off-ramp; West throughout Avila Beach (including See Canyon area); South to Spyglass Drive; and East of Highway 101 (Squire Canyon area). School policy requires parents or legal guardians to provide consistent proof of residency across required documents. Admission of one child in a family does not guarantee admission of siblings.

How to Apply

Parents interested in having their child attend Bellevue-Santa Fe Charter School must complete an enrollment packet. 2025/2026 Enrollment packets will be available on this website or may be obtained by visiting the school during office hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.). Completed packets for the next school year are due by the close of business on the last business day in February.

An Annual Public Admissions Lottery is held for new student openings, and results are mailed to student applicant families. Accurate information, documentation, and the timely completion of the packet in its entirety is the sole responsibility of the requesting parent/legal guardian.

Waitlist Requests

Waitlist requests can be made by submitting a 2024/2025 enrollment packet to the front office for the current school year.
